Whenever I think of the Peninsula de Paria, this is the image that comes to my mind. It’s Rio Caribe, as the peñeros rest for the night after a day of work. More than just a fleet of boats, this is a portrait of the Venezuelan character. It captures something I truly love about our people: we never shy away from putting our 'colours' into everything. Each boat is a canvas, a vibrant, personal statement. This is the spirit of our coast, painted in full color.
