This image is a personal favorite, and for me, it is Los Roques. Taken in April 2025, it captures the perfect duality that defines the archipelago. You have the vast, breathtaking beauty of the Sebastopol barrier, an intricate tapestry of turquoise and sand. And then you have the wind—the unseen, ever-present soul of Los Roques, made visible by the sailboat and kitesurfers painting white strokes on the deep blue. It’s a portrait of paradise in motion.
